Main Achievements of the RE-DIRECTION Project

The Erasmus+ RE-DIRECTION project continues to successfully pursue its objectives aimed at modernising higher education systems in Ukraine and Georgia through the integration of digitalisation, inclusivity, and sustainable development into the educational process.

One of the key achievements has been the successful completion of the first stage of work on identifying skills and competence gaps in higher education institutions in Ukraine and Georgia (https://lnk.ua/1V9k29P4g). Within the framework of Work Package WP2, project partners conducted a comprehensive study covering three strategic areas—digitalisation, inclusivity, and sustainability. This provided a valuable comparative analysis of current educational practices and clearly outlined priorities for further curriculum renewal.

An important step in consolidating international cooperation was the Second Transnational Partner Meeting, held in March 2025 in Karlsruhe (Germany) https://lnk.ua/aVp95Y5ND. Representatives of Dnipro University of Technology actively contributed to the development of the Inclusivity Guide and discussions on the structure of updated curricula. During the meeting, the first version of the MOOC platform - a key digital tool of the project aimed at expanding access to learning materials - was presented https://lnk.ua/Men0WdRNg

At the same time, the consortium made progress in developing methodological documents and learning materials that will form the basis of future updated courses at partner universities. These outputs have already undergone a validation process (https://lnk.ua/xVm8Z2bev), confirming their quality and compliance with current requirements of the higher education sector.

Thanks to the active involvement of Dnipro University of Technology and its partners, the project has established a solid foundation for the further implementation of innovative approaches in higher education focused on labour market needs, digital competence, and equal access to quality education. The achieved results are already influencing the academic and educational landscape.

The next stages of the project envisage further curriculum renewal, piloting of the developed courses, and the elaboration of policy recommendations to support the transformation of higher education in Ukraine and Georgia.
